If the recipient at a residential address is not available when your delivery attempt is made, a Carithers’ Gift Delivery Notice will be left at their door offering a convenient means to reschedule their delivery at a time that is appropriate for them. To ensure superior quality and freshness, re-deliveries are generated as new orders and receive a freshly made gift. Note: Occasionally, depending on weather and location your driver may elect to leave your gift in a safe place for the recipient to find upon their return.

Carithers offers Atlanta's only 4 Hour Delivery Guarantee with our Express Delivery Rates. To schedule a specific time delivery and request our 4 Hour Guaranteed Express Delivery call customer service at 770.980.3000. Express Courier rates are quoted individually as they are based on time of day and location. While every effort will be made to accommodate special time delivery requests, Carithers cannot guarantee special time requests for standard delivery.
Changes to address information or incorrect addresses after the order has been placed resulting in a re-delivery will be subject a $10.00 redelivery charge.
The florist may choose to leave the arrangement with a neighbor or manager and attach a note to the recipient's door stating who accepted the arrangement on their behalf; or if the area is secure, to leave the arrangement at the door. The florist may also leave a note on the recipient's door asking the recipient to call the florist's shop and arrange a convenient time for re-delivery. Another option is calling the recipient first to arrange a delivery time. If the recipient is at work all day, we suggest sending the arrangement to the workplace. Incomplete or incorrect address or phone numbers may delay delivery. Most florists employ professional delivery personnel who will find the best delivery choice for your special gift.
Due to limited availability of florists open Sunday, we cannot guarantee delivery on Sunday. However, Monday will need to be an option for delivery if Sunday is not available.
Due to the various time zones between the U.S. and other continents, same day delivery is not available. We can only guarantee delivery dates for orders received three business days in advance. You must call us to place an international delivery order; you cannot do so online.

Gift orders may be placed up to a year in advance of their delivery date. Customers may cancel a gift order or change its delivery date up to 24 prior to the scheduled delivery date at no additional cost. Changes and cancellations within the last 24 hours cannot be guaranteed and may result in a 20% service fee. Wedding and Special Event Orders must be prepaid 14 days prior to delivery. Due to perishable inventory commitments, wedding and event orders may be subject to a 100% cancellation penalty within 7 days of delivery, and requests will be considered on a case by case basis.
Due to various seasonal and regional conditions, and the variety of unplanned issues courtesy of Mother Nature, availability of some flowers may be very limited in certain areas. Also, specific flower varieties or colors may not be available for delivery on a specified day. Therefore, it is possible that the exact bouquet pictured or requested may not be available for delivery.
In this event, the local florist will deliver a second choice of similar flowers and container of equal value and beauty. Every effort will be made to maintain size, shape, and overall color schemes of an arrangement, but there may be some variance due to designer interpretation. In single variety arrangements, variety will take preference over color. Our goal is your complete satisfaction, rest assured that every effort will be made to provide an arrangement of equal or greater value.
Several of our gift items are shipped directly through Federal Express, Airborne, or UPS. At this time, we are unable to ship to PO boxes, hotels, or hospitals. Cut-off times for same-day shipment and available shipping options are clearly marked on the order form for each item. The date your order will be received will depend on the shipping date and the shipping method you select. Items shipped UPS Ground can take 3 to 7 business days, and delivery dates are not guaranteed. Items shipped Overnight or 2-Day are guaranteed to be delivered within that period. Please note that the guaranteed shipping options are based on business days, so an order shipped on a Friday by FedEx 2-Day would be delivered on the following Tuesday.

Carithers guarantees same day delivery for all gift orders received before 1:00 p.m. in the recipient’s local time zone. Orders received after 1:00pm are guaranteed for delivery the next day. For a standard delivery fee of $14.99 business deliveries are guaranteed by 4 p.m., Schools by 3p.m, and Hospitals by 6p.m. Funeral Home deliveries receive special care, and are scheduled based on the published visitation and service time. For your convenience Carithers’ customer service team will verify all Funeral Home schedules and adjust delivery times accordingly at no extra charge.
Carithers services many major metropolitan areas with Sunday delivery service, and in many cases we can satisfy your Sunday delivery requests. However, due to limited Sunday coverage around the country we cannot guarantee Sunday delivery. Gifts not delivered Sunday are guaranteed for Monday delivery. Gifts delivered via shipping services will be sent the day ordered if placed by 12:00 noon (EST). Orders received after 12:00 noon (EST) or received on Saturday/Sunday will be shipped on the following Monday. Allow 2-3 business days for delivery.
